Groceries for individuals and families in the Creston Valley.

Thrift store for clothing, shoes and toys.

Thrift store for furniture, housewares and electronics.
No donations are accepted at Gleaners on Saturdays.
The Creston Valley Gleaners Society started by gleaning surplus food from local farms. Today we run two storefronts, a food bank and a food recovery program, all powered by our volunteers and the generosity of our community.
Read our story →“To lend a hand where most needed and to treat, with dignity and caring, those individuals in our community who are less fortunate.”
Everything we do runs on our community. Pick the way that suits you.

Sort donations, run a till or pack food hampers. A few hours a week makes a difference.

Bring clothing, toys, furniture and housewares to either store during drop-off hours.

A gift online keeps the shelves stocked for local families. Gifts of $25 or more are tax-deductible.
Gleaners receives shipments of reclaimed goods from private sector providers. These include non-perishable food as well as personal hygiene and household products. Food goes first to the Food Bank, and then to other programs in our community.
